Deputy Premier receives Swiss Honorary Consul

Manama, Oct. 25 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received today Swiss Honorary Consul General Humbert Vincent Buemi. He underlined growing relations between both countries thanks to keenness of both countries' leaderships to further promote them. He pointed out the importance of the visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Switzerland last May and his meeting with President of the Swiss Confederation Johann Niklaus Schneider-Ammann. He said the visit reflected solid and growing relations between the two friendly countries and ushered in a new era of bilateral cooperation. The Swiss Honorary Consul General thanked the Deputy Premier for the meeting, underscoring keenness of the Swiss Confederation to promote bilateral relations and cooperation and lauding Bahrain's key role, strategic location and leading status as a regional financial hub.
