Deputy Premier welcomes BNP Paribas activities in Bahrain

Manama, Nov. 22 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa today received Deputy Chief Operating Officer of BNP Paribas Bank, Alain Papiasse. Deputy Prime Minister hailed the bank's development activities in Bahrain, and its role in providing training and employment opportunities for citizens. He noted keenness of Bahrain's government, led by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, on supporting the banking, financial and investment institutions in Bahrain. He also pointed out the development of legislation, laws and facilitations for investors and banking institutions to expand their activities. Papiasse gave a brief overview of the BNP Paribas Bank's future programmes and plans in Bahrain.
