Deputy Prime Minister receives Indian Ambassador

Manama, Sept. 19 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received Indian Ambassador to Bahrain Piyush Srivastava and reviewed with him cooperation between the two countries, confronting the coronavirus pandemic, and other issues of common interest. The deputy prime minister praised the historical relations between Bahrain and India and their development in various fields. HH Shaikh Khalid affirmed keenness on wider cooperation, wishing the ambassador success in strengthening Bahraini-Indian ties. The ambassador thanked the deputy prime minister for supporting bilateral relations and for developing cooperation.
