Deputy Prime Minister receives Japanese ambassador

Manama, Oct. 20 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received today newly appointed Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Miyamoto Masayuki. They discussed growing relations between the two friendly countries and issues of common interest. The Deputy Prime Minister asserted the need to take advantage of the tremendous technological progress in Japan and use it locally to upgrade the digital and infrastructure level. The Japanese ambassador thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for the meeting, stressing keenness to achieve the aspirations of both countries by encouraging the Japanese economic and commercial delegations to visit the Kingdom of Bahrain and explore the investment opportunities in it.
