Deputy Prime Minister receives Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry President

Manama, Oct. 21 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa receives The President of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rida Al Saleh. Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)'s Chairman Sameer Abdullah Nass and Bahraini Ambassador to Oman Dr. Juma bin Ahmed Al Kaabi. The deputy prime minister affirmed that the strong brotherly ties between Bahrain and Oman, laid solid foundations for joint action thanks to the constant care from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said. He expressed his wishes that the visit would achieve its desired goals in terms of deepening trade and investment relations, the most prominent of which was the announcement of the common desire to establish a private Bahraini-Omani company, which it is estimated that its establishment will be completed by the end of this year. Shaikh Khalid noted the importance of expanding the scope of the partnerships between the two countries in various fields; to benefit of the investment advantages and facilities that each country provides for foreign capital to operate freely and safely within a legal and regulated framework, as well as work to increase the volume of trade exchange to meet the needs of markets and provide their requirements for goods and materials, and to prepare everything that achieves the region's food security.
