The Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE's Minister of Finance receives Bahrain's Minister of Finance and National Economy

Dubai, (BNA): The Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance of the United Arab Emirates, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, received the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, during HE’s official visit to the UAE. HE Shaikh Salman highlighted the long-standing bilateral ties between the two nations, underpinned by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s joint commitment to advance cooperation at all levels. HE Shaikh Salman also stressed the importance of strengthening Bahraini-Emirati economic cooperation and continuing to explore new areas of collaboration, including advancing investment and trade opportunities. For his part, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, welcomed the Minister of Finance and National Economy’s visit, which builds on the two countries’ determination to further enhance their multi-faceted cooperation, securing greater prosperity for the peoples of both nations. During the visit, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa also met with the UAE’s Minister of State for Financial Affairs, HE Obaid bin Humaid Al Tayer. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the two nations' wide-ranging economic and trade relations in addition to identifying new opportunities to collaborate on.
