Director-General of Civil Defence participates in 54th session of International Civil Defence Organisation Executive Council

Geneva, Oct. 28 (BNA): Director-General of Civil Defence, Brigadier Ali Mohammed Al Hooti, has taken part in the 54th session of the Executive Council of the International Civil Defence Organisation, in Geneva. The Director-General highlighted Bahrain's keenness on achieving the sustainable development goals through joint efforts between ministries and authorities to create a secure environment for growth. He told the attendees about the Interior Ministry's strategy that aims to enhance the skills of manpower, promote preparedness and the utilization of modern technology. The ministry's efforts to face challenges and limit the negative impacts of disasters and accidents were also highlighted.
