Doctors sit for Arab Board examination

Manama, Dec. 20 (BNA): Seven Bahrain doctors have sat for the first and final written parts of the Arab Board examination for imaging radiology. The Chargé d'Affaires of Training Affairs Dr. Muneera Al Subaie said the examination followed four years of training that should qualify them to obtain the fellowship and serve in Bahrain's hospitals. The level of training at the Ministry of Health has expanded impressively at all levels and medical specialties, which has contributed to the improvement of the health services provided in Bahrain, Al Subaie said. She attributed the improvement to the directives, support and follow-up of the ministry's higher management headed by Health Minister Faiqa bint Saeed Al Saleh and Undersecretary Dr. Waleed Khalifa Al Manea.
