Foundation for Consumers secretary-general Saree Ongsomwang disclosed the tests on the amount of trans fat in chocolate doughnuts of 13 brands.
Eight of 13 samples were found to contain trans, fat higher than 0.5 gramme per serving size, recommended by the World Health Organization.
Eight brands of these chocolate doughnuts are Sublime (5.59 grammes), Foodland (3.04 grammes), Mister Donut (2.86 grammes), Dunkin’s Donuts (2.75 grammes), Tesco Lotus (1.4 grammes), Big C (0.95 gramme), NK Donut (0.86 gramme) and Yamazaki (0.75 gramme).
