The Dutch Prime Minister Confirms His Country's Continued Support For Iraq

Baghdad / NINA / - Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte affirmed his country's continued support for Iraq. A Foreign Ministry statement said that Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein met Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, on the sidelines of the 27th session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change COP27, held in the Arab Republic of Egypt, in Sharm El-Sheikh. During the meeting, they reviewed relations between the two countries and ways to support them in a way that enhances common interests and confront common risks. The minister presented a clear picture of the formation of the new government in Iraq and the policy of the current government, stressing that the government will continue to develop its relations with all countries supporting and friendly to Iraq, expressing his thanks to the Netherlands for supporting Iraq in various fields. For his part, the Dutch Prime Minister affirmed his country's continued support for Iraq, congratulating the Iraqi people on the formation of the Iraqi government, noting that his country's government is looking forward to expanding common workspaces, and seeking to open new horizons for cooperation between our two countries in many fields. It is noteworthy that the minister participates in the work of the Climate Summit within the delegation of Iraq headed by the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, and attended the bilateral meetings held by the president with the King of Jordan, the heads of government of Tunisia, Lebanon and Palestine, the presidents of Armenia and Algeria, and the Saudi crown prince./ End
