Education Minister honors three girls' schools for awards in Gulf competitions

Manama, Dec. 9 (BNA): Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi has commended three schools for their creative initiatives that led them to winning top honors within the Arabian Gulf. Hidd Girls' Secondary School won three prizes in the competition organized by the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS). Zanoobiya Gilrs' Intermediate School won four prizes while Noor Girls' Secondary School won the second prize in a competition. Al Nuaimi congratulated the laureates and praised their distinguished achievements despite the exceptional circumstances and challenges imposed by the coronavirus pandemic. He stressed the ministry's keenness to encourage educational competencies and motivate them to participate in local and foreign competitions. Outstanding initiatives and successful participations will always be honored by the ministry as part of its steady support for school activities, the minister added.
