Education minister meets Italian delegation

Manama, Mar. 22(BNA): Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi received Italian Ambassador Domenico Bellato, who was accompanied by a delegation representing the universities of Messina, Albertina and conservatorio Giuseppe and discussed joint cooperation. The minister briefed the delegation on Bahrain's dedicated efforts to encourage investments in the sector of higher education, stressing the importance of striking the balance to ensure the quality standard of academic programmes. Dr. Al-Nuaimi gave an update about a project to revamp Al-Hedaya Al-Khalifiya School and turn it into a national university, under royal directives.
