Education Minister participates in Rakaez International Conference

Sharjah, Oct. 13 (BNA): Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi participated in the Rakaez International Conference patronized by Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah HH Shaikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi. The conference is organized by Sharjah Education Council in cooperation with Regional Center for Educational Planning under the theme "Sustainable Education is the Future". Deputy Ruler of Sharjah Shaikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi was present. The minister reviewed Bahrain's achievements affirmed by positive regional and international reports thanks to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He noted the Kingdom's experience in integrating students with special needs and the care they receive as well as the role of teachers in light of sustainable education, and the establishment of Bahrain Teachers College and its academic and training programs. Dr. Al Nuaimi highlighted the role of the online system in the ministry, which was enhanced by His Majesty King Hamad’s Project for Future Schools at the Ministry of Education and the Digital Empowerment Program in Education. He also referred to the services provided by the ministry’s educational portal that contributed to the sustainability of education during the Coronavirus pandemic.
