Education Minister receives ABEGS Director General

Manama, Oct. 27 (BNA): Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi received the newly appointed Director General of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS) Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammad Al Assimi. The meeting discussed future cooperation between the ABEGS office, the Center of Excellence for Technical, Vocational Education, and the Regional Center for Information and Communication Technology (RCICT), which operate in Bahrain under the supervision of UNESCO. Al Nuaimi stressed the ministry’s keenness to strengthen cooperation and provide educational, advisory and training services to member states, and praised the office’s efforts to contribute to developing education.
