Education Minister receives Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Award winners

Manama, Mar. 11 (BNA): The Khawla Secondary Girls’ School has clinched the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Award for Distinguished Academic Performance in the category of ‘School and School Administration’, which adds to the kingdom’s rich record of milestone achievements in the educational field. On this occasion, Education Minister, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, received the winners of the prestigious award, in its 22nd edition, including the Principal of the Khawla Secondary Girls’ School, Manal Abdulla. They also included Isa Hussain Ali, from the Abu Saiba Primary Boys’ School, and Umm Al-Banin Yusuf Jamali, from the Hajer Primary Girls’ School, the winners of the award in the ‘Distinguished Teacher’ category, in addition to student Amal Abda Al-Tairi, from the Al-Noor Secondary Girls’ School, the winner of the award in the ‘Distinguished Student’ category. The minister commended the tremendous efforts exerted by the winners in order to clinch the prestigious award. Dr. Al-Nuaimi praised the solid fraternal relations between Bahrain and the UAE in many fields, including the educational one. He stressed the importance of the award in honouring the distinguished teaching and educational staff, as well as in enhancing the performance of the educational competencies in the participating countries, wishing everyone further success.
