Education Minister receives UNESCO Regional Office director

Manama, Nov.30 (BNA): Education Minister Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma today received Director of the UNESCO Regional Office for Education in the Arab Countries Costanza Farina, on the sidelines ofher participation in the third International Education Conference, which was organized on November 29-30 by the Arab Center for Educational Research in Gulf Countries. Farina stressed the importance of the conference, hailing the topics which featured on the agenda and discussions during the sessions. The minister commended cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UNESCO regional offices. He highlighted Bahrain's efforts to compensate for the educational loss during the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), in addition to developing school curricula.
