Education Ministry prepares, uploads 333 e-lessons, digital content

Manama, Mar. 19 (BNA): The Education Ministry has, over the past two weeks, prepared 333 e-lessons, including 66 for special education, 37 for technical and vocational education, as well as 62 electronic enrichment materials, and uploaded them to its website and educational portal, Assistant Undersecretary for Curricula and Educational Supervision, Ahlam Ahmed Al-Amer, has revealed, noting that the move will benefit students from all stages, and enrich the educational portal’s digital content. Al-Amer added that work is underway by the recently-formed 45 specialised teams to produce more similar lessons and digital content that suit various school levels, noting that the Education Ministry will produce various video lessons to broadcast them on Bahrain TV, in cooperation with the Information Affairs Ministry, and upload them on YouTube channels to provide more options for students and increase the number of beneficiaries from educational services. She pointed out that the while designing the digital educational content, the Ministry of Education has reduced the content of the school curricula, focusing on the basic competencies in the various subjects for all grades.
