Education Ministry stages various activities on National Sport Day

Manama, Feb. 7 (BNA): Education Minister, Dr. Majid Al-Nuaimi, senior officials, employees and thousands of students today participated in sport activities in implementation of directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa to allocate half working day for sports activities to celebrate the National Sport Day on February 7. Dr. Al-Nuaimi praised HRH Prime Minister's directives that have a positive impact on the individuals' mental and physical health. He said the events targeted 240 thousand students from government and private schools, hailing the efforts of participants who ensured the success of the event.
