Education-related Exhibitions Open

Pyongyang, August 31 (KCNA) -- The national educational experimental apparatus and teaching aids exhibition and the education aid exhibition opened with due ceremony at the Sci-Tech Complex on Friday with the upcoming 14th National Conference of Teachers as a momentum. On display at the educational experimental apparatus and teaching aids exhibition were over 3 100 kinds of equipment and apparatuses for experiments and practical training and more than 1 800 teaching aids made by educational institutions at all levels and industrial establishments. Presented to the education aid exhibition were over 60 000 equipment, apparatuses, etc. of scores of kinds provided by ministries and national institutions. Present at the opening ceremony were Pak Thae Song, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Jon Kwang Ho, vice-premier of the Cabinet, officials of ministries and national institutions, those in the field of education, teachers and kindergarteners.
