eGovernment Excellence Award 2019 nomination opens

Manama, Jan. 30 (BNA): The eGovernment Excellence Award's organizing committee announced opening the door for nominations to the eGovernment Excellence Award 2019 on the award's official website: www.egovaward.bh. The award was created under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, President of the ICT High Committee, in 2008 as a strategic platform for the Information & eGovernment Authority to recognize, reward, and showcase the pioneering ICT initiatives taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain’s community. This biennial award was created with independent industry specialists and experts from across the globe in collaboration with the Information & eGovernment Authority, all with a vision of setting a benchmark to the region’s wave of development in ICT. Over the years, the eGovernment Excellence Award has become the cornerstone to encourage governmental, private organisations, NGOs, and citizens to share and progress with their successful ICT innovations, to further enhancing the Kingdom’s digital progress.
