Egyptian Ambassador visits 47th Annual Bahrain Fine Arts Exhibition

Manama, Aug. 30 (BNA): Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain, Yasser Mohammed Ahmed Shaban, today paid a visit to the 47th Annual Bahrain Fine Arts Exhibition, where he was welcomed by the Director-General of Culture and Arts at the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikha Hala bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, and Director of the Bahrain National Theatre, Hani Ali Bahzad. Shaikha Hala expressed thanks to the envoy for visiting the exhibition, stressing the importance of the Bahraini-Egyptian cultural relations. Ambassador Shaban lauded BACA’s efforts to enrich the cultural movement in the kingdom, expressing his constant readiness to support the cultural work in Bahrain. The exhibition encompasses a wide range of art schools and styles, including mixed media paintings, video installations, photography and sculptures, among others. The ambassador also visited the “Khalifa bin Salman - A Presence Renewed with Love from 1972-2020”, which is a special exhibition dedicated to the late HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, who had patronised the annual event since its inception in 1972.
