Egyptian President receives Foreign Minister

Cairo, Mar. 3 (BNA): Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, received in Cairo today Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, who presented him with a letter from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on enhancing brotherly relations between the two countries. The Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed to the Egyptian President the greetings of His Majesty the King and his best wishes of abundant health and further progress and prosperity to Egypt. The Egyptian President asked the Foreign Minister to convey his greetings to His Majesty the King and his best wishes of more growth and prosperity to Bahrain. He also hailed strong brotherly relations between the two countries, which are constantly developing at all levels. The Egyptian President congratulated the Minister of Foreign Affairs on the royal trust bestowed upon him through his appointment to his post, wishing him success. For his part, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani expressed the Kingdom’s pride in distinguished fraternal relations with Egypt, stressing keenness of the two countries to enhance bilateral cooperation. He commended Egypt's strategic and vital role in promoting peace, security and stability at the regional and international levels and in supporting Arabian issues at various forums. The meeting was attended by Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Hassan Shoukry as well as the Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Hesham bin Mohammed Al Jowder.
