Electricity Minister to patronise BMA conference

Manama, Feb. 2 (BNA): The Bahrain Management Association (BMA) will hold its annual International Leadership Conference on February 5 under the patronage of Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza. The event, at the Grove Hotel, will be attended by more than 150 participants from within and outside Bahrain. It will be organised under the theme "Leadership in the Age of Digital Transformation". The minister will deliver a keynote speech at the opening ceremony highlighting the leaderships requirements in the modern digital age. The Bahrain Management Association Board of Directors Chairman Dr. Adel Hamad thanked Dr. Mirza for his interest, support and patronage of the annual event. He said this is not the first time they have been sponsored and supported by the Electricity and Water Affairs Ministry. He added this is based on the keenness of Dr. Mirza to achieve the objectives of such conferences towards administrative bodies and institutions. He said top leaders and administrative officials from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Arab and European states will take part. The conference will discuss the pioneering role of the youth in driving the change in the digital age. The conference will also discuss the importance of the topics discussed which pertain to digitization and its impact on management and leadership and how to deal with the era of transformation.
