Electricity minister receives club delegation

Manama, Dec. 14 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza received Rotary Club of Manama President Fareed Bader and several members of the board who presented to the minister a brochure on the club’s 50th anniversary. The minister welcomed the Rotarians and praised them for their social and community activities in Bahrain. He also applauded the Rotarians’ voluntary efforts including fundraising activity and assisting in building charitable projects to serve all members of the community without any discrimination. The minister said the Rotary clubs contribute to the concerns of the local community by adopting humanitarian, health, education and other issues, and create a spirit of public service for the entire spectrum of society. The club president and others spoke about their upcoming programmes and pledged to provide more services for the community. The delegation thanked the minister and other officials for their welcome and hospitality and for their continuous support.
