Electricity minister receives German delegation

Manama, Feb. 26 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received a delegation from the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, currently visiting Bahrain. The delegation was headed by Chamber President Dr. Peter Ramsauer. The minister welcomed the role of the chamber in serving common objectives of the economy, strengthening links between Arab countries and Germany as well as providing suitable investment opportunities for businessmen, companies and institutions from both sides. They discussed the latest developments and achievements of Bahrain in the electricity, water and renewable energy sectors and investment opportunities available to Arab and German companies. The visitors thanked the minister and officials for the welcome and the hospitality and said they had benefitted greatly from the minister’s presentation on the electricity, water and renewable energy sectors in Bahrain. They said they were also made aware of existing and future projects and added they welcomed cooperation between the two sides.
