Electricity Minister receives Linklaters delegation

Manama, Oct. 13 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received a delegation from Linklaters, led by strategic partner Sarosh Mewawallaabd legal adviser Walid Ras Ramani. Executive Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Electricity and Water Authority Mohammed Abdul Rahim Al Sadqi was present on the occasion. The minister praised the activities and experience of Linklaters, an international law firm with regional offices in the GCC countries, which provides legal advice in the field of financing infrastructure projects. The visitors reviewed with the minister their desire to cooperate in the electricity and water sector in renewable energy projects now and in the future. The minister stressed that he is always seeking to build bridges of communication with local and international companies to benefit from their expertise according to available opportunities. The visiting delegation thanked the minister and officials for the welcome and the hospitality and their efforts to improve quality of services. The meeting was also attended by Acting Director of the Sustainable Energy Unit Alexander Al Samahiji and Advisor to the Minister Adel Al Taho.
