Electricity Minister receives Swiss Honorary Consul-General

Manama, Sept. 13 (BNA): Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs Wael bin Nasser Al-Mubarak, received Swiss Honorary Consul-General Humbert Vincent Buemi. The minister praised the strong bilateral relations reinforced by cooperation in various developmental fields. They discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of exchange of expertise and experiences, transfer of knowledge in the field of electricity and water, and capacity building. The minister briefed the consul on the most important projects carried out by EWA, in line with the Kingdom's economic vision 2030 and its national strategy, in a way that meets the requirements of urban and population growth. The Swiss consul affirmed his country's readiness to enhance the existing cooperation in the electricity and water sectors in a way that serves the interests and aspirations of the two countries.
