Executive,legislative branches cooperation praised

Manama, Dec. 24 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa praised the ongoing cooperation between the executive and legislative branches and its success in hammering out a common understanding to maximise achievements. He said the government and the parliament have a common goal which is citizens' welfare. HRH the Premier was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace today members of the Representatives Council and discussed with them a number of national issues. He described cooperation between the executive and legislative branches as a pillar in the kingdom's development march, reiterating the government's keenness on further promoting it. He pledged every support from the government to the members of the Representatives Council to achieve the aspirations of the Bahraini people and boost their welfare. He voiced confidence in the newly-elected Council of Representatives, expressing hope cooperation between the executive and legislative branches would live up to people's ambitions. The members of the Representatives Council expressed heartfelt thanks and respect to HRH the Premier for his unflinching keenness to boost cooperation between the executive and legislative branches, stressing that his approach and wisdom play a big role in this respect. They described him as a national role model in maintaining communication with citizens and reaching out to their needs.
