Fallen heroes’ memories to live on in Bahrain’s collective conscience

Manama, Dec. 16 (BNA): Information Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi has paid rich tribute to Bahrain’s fallen heroes for giving the most inspiring examples of faith, loyalty, and sacrifice to defend religion, truth and justice, and protect the homeland and Arab and Islamic national security in the fields of dignity, honor and heroism.
Al Romaihi expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, for establishing a Commemoration Day for the fallen heroes and setting up a Royal Fund for Fallen Servicemen chaired by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Such initiatives reflect the wise leadership’s appreciation and pride in the sacrifices of the righteous fallen servicemen and support and care for their children and their families, he added.
The fallen heroes’ sacrifices will remain alive in the collective conscience of Bahrain and the Arab and Islamic nation for their dedication to defending security, stability and sovereignty, and for their commitment within the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia to support legitimacy and to provide relief to the afflicted.
He stressed the keenness of the national media to highlight the religious, national and noble humanitarian meanings of the sacrifices of the fallen servicemen.
The media will also highlight their heroism and help the future generations become inspired by their values of selflessness and devotion in serving the nation and consolidating the spirit of unity, Al Romaihi said.
