Feena Khair national campaign hailed

Manama, May 10(BNA): Over 50,000 meals have been distributed daily to expatriates in different areas countrywide amid precautionary measures to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), said a Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
The charity drive was coordinated with the Feena Khair national campaign, which was launched by HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Royal Humanitarian Foundation Board of Trustees’ Chairman HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.
Southern Governor HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa said that s string of initiatives were launched in cooperation with the Southern police directorate, as part of the Feena Khair national campaign, which contributed to strengthening community partnership.
Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa bin Hindi Al-Mannai hailed the national drive led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, paying tribute to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa.
He praised the national efforts led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister to combat COVID-19 pandemic, which earned Bahrain World Health Organisation (WHO) praise.
He highlighted the directives issued by the Minister of Interior General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa to coordinate with competent authorities, thanking volunteers for their contribution.
Capital Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa hailed the Feena Khair national campaign, which played the crucial role in in cementing community partnership and social solidarity.
Northern Governor Shaikh Ali bin Al-Sheikh Abdulhussein Al-Asfoor hailed the Feena Khair drive which reflects HM the King’s keenness on citizens and residents’ safety and health.
