Shymkent, November 25, 2009 (Khabar) - During the live question and answer session, the President received over 2 thousand questions concerning public order. The Minister for Interior affairs of the country, Serik Baimagambetov became acquainted with the current state in the south of Kazakhstan. All traffic police services are provided at the Shymkent processing centre. There, one can get a driving license, technical inspection, insurance policy and pay fines and taxes. All the services are provided in the one-stop-shop mode. Computers are connected to cameras and speed guns which helped to reduce the number of traffic accidents by 200 cases against last year. This is the third processing centre in Kazakhstan the first two are in Almaty and Astana.
In the recent live question and answer session, there was a question about children crimes in Taraz.
Natalya Iseyeva, principal, Taraz School 7:
- It is necessary to get all children busy in stead of forcing them to do something what they do not want to do at all. You can find problem children everywhere which is why we need to arrange special hobby groups where they can let their adrenaline out. These children are afraid of nothing. They are fearless.
School psychologists say that the so-called difficult children like sports with one third of such teenagers attend free school sport sections. The rest of them let their emotions out in the streets. Such children openly say that they would love to attend boxing or swimming sections. However, they cannot afford them, as well paying for the use of the new tennis court. The city department of education found a way out as they opened a centre for technical creativity. Now, this section is attended by over 3 thousand children with 50% of them are the so-called difficult children. Additional sections and courses were opened in Taraz recently. The Interior Affairs Minister also offered the city its assistance as from now on, district police officers will be working together with teacher and parents.
