Fight against corruption

Pavlodar, October 30, 2009 (Khabar) - Public prosecutor of Irtysh area in Pavlodar region was arrested for suspicion on taking a bribe. On the given fact investigatory management of National Security Committee Department raises criminal case under 311th article - «bribe reception». According to the Code of honor of workers of bodies of Office of Public Prosecutor the head of supervising department of region Nurmahan Isayev declared the resignation. He has informed on at special press conference. According to Isayev, the public prosecutor of Irtysh area has been detained at reception of a bribe at a rate of three thousand dollars. On October, 29th the supervising body has supported the petition of National Security inspectors for authorization of arrest of the suspect. Isayev has declared after happened that as a direct head of Zhashenov he has no moral right to hold this post any more.

Nurmahan Isayev, the public prosecutor of Pavlodar region:
– I have submitted the official report addressed to the General public prosecutor, being guided by the Code of honor of Office of Public Prosecutor’s officials which has been accepted on October, 13th current year, and also by my own morally-ethical reasons. For one simple reason that public prosecutor Zhashenov - is guilty, or is not guilty, court will it solve – but the fact took place. And I simply have no moral right. How the person with a knife in his back can feel?
