Finance Minister, Arab Monetary Fund Chairman discuss cooperation

Manama, Oct. 24 (BNA): Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa met with Arab Monetary Fund General Director and Chairman Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Humaidi. The minister praised the role and contributions of the Arab Monetary Fund. The meeting discussed matters of common interest and reviewed Bahrain’s positive indicators in terms of the determinants targeted by the Fiscal Balance Program and the Economic Recovery Plan. The minister highlighted the plans of Fiscal Balance Program initiatives to enhance economic growth in the Kingdom and achieve the comprehensive development goals led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
