Finance Minister hails Bahrain-US strategic ties

Manama, Jan.26 (BNA): Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa stressed deep-rooted historic and strategic relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America. He hailed steadily-growing relations on all levels which consolidated fruitful cooperation between the two countries, reiterating Bahrain’s keenness on expanding joint economic ties. He minister made the statement today during his meeting with Deputy Assistant Secretary for Counter Threat Finance and Sanctions at the U.S Department of State David Peyman. The two sides discussed latest international developments, focusing particularly on countering financial threats and terror funding.
