Finance Minister meets IsDB President

Tashkent, Sept. 3 (BNA): Finance and National Economy Minister, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, held a meeting with the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Dr. Mohammed Sulaiman Al-Jasser. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the IsDB, hosted by Uzbekistan on September 2-4. The Minister of Finance congratulated Dr. Mohammed Al-Jasser on his election as IsDB President, lauding IsDB’s strategic efforts to support member states, praising, at the same time, the Bank’s keenness to support cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain, particularly in the development fields. The two sides also discussed areas of cooperation between the kingdom and IsDB, in addition to topics of mutual interest.
