Finance Minister meets SCW chief

Manama, Feb. 24 (BNA): Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa hailed the pioneering role of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President in empowering Bahraini women and bolstering their role in national development. The minister made the statement as he received a SCW delegation led by Secretary-General Hala Al-Ansari. The meeting focused on the SCW-led efforts to empower women, promote equal opportunities and integrate their needs in development policies. Al-Ansari commended the Finance and National Economy Minister’s support to the SCW-led efforts to promote the standing of Bahraini women, stressing keenness on strengthening joint cooperation.
