Finance minister participates in GCC-IMF meeting

Manama, Oct. 27 (BNA): On the side-lines of the 105th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s Financial Cooperation Committee, Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa has participated in the meeting of GCC finance ministers and central bank governors with the International Monetary Fund (IMF)'s Managing Director, Christine Lagarde. The meeting was held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, to discuss fiscal policy reform and adjustment, diversification of government revenues and expansion of the role of the non-oil private sector to boost economic growth and create more jobs.
