Finance Minister receives Bahraini Ambassador to UK

Manama, Dec. 26 (BNA): Minister of Finance and National Economy Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa received today Bahraini Ambassador to the United Kingdom Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa. He stressed the pivotal role of Bahrain embassies abroad in boosting relations with brotherly and friendly countries. He wished the Bahraini missions success in achieving goals and building on national achievements under the comprehensive development march spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The Minister of Finance and National Economy praised the role of Bahrain embassy in the UK in bolstering bilateral cooperation. He also reviewed with the Bahraini Ambassador to the UK cooperation between both countries mainly in the financial and economic fields. He lauded keenness of Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa on promoting historical relations mainly in the economic and financial fields. Shaikh Fawaz expressed thanks and respect to the minister for his efforts to boost the kingdom's economic development, commending keenness of the Ministry of Finance and National Economy on fostering economic relations with different countries in order to achieve citizens' aspirations.
