Finance Minister receives GCC Secretary General

Manama, Sept. 21 (BNA): Minister of Finance and National Economy Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa underscored the significant achievements of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), stressing Bahrain’s keenness to further boost joint cooperation. He also emphasised the importance to continue promoting economic cooperation and integration to achieve forecast goals and create more investment opportunities. The Minister of Finance and National Economy was speaking as he received in his office today GCC Secretary General Dr. Nayef Falah Al Hajraf and his accompanying delegation. They discussed the GCC march and ways of enhancing the council’s role to achieve set up goals. The GCC Secretary General expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Finance and National Economy for the gracious welcome, lauding the role of the Kingdom of Bahrain in achieving GCC integration.
