Finance Minister receives Indian ambassador

Manama, Oct. 4 (BNA): Minister of Finance and National Economy Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa received today newly-appointed Indian Ambassador to Bahrain Piyush Srivastava. He welcomed him, wishing him every success in his diplomatic duties. He also stressed growing relations and cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and India mainly in the financial and business sector. He affirmed the need to continue strengthening bilateral relations for the best interest of the two friendly countries and their peoples. Both sides reviewed economic partnership between both countries and ways of bolstering it to provide more promising investment opportunities. They also discussed issues of common interest and the latest global economic developments.
