Finance minister receives LGT Group delegation

Manama, Jan. 24 (BNA): Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa today received Prince Phillip the President of Liechtenstein-based LGT Banking Group and a number of officials from the Group and its subsidiary in Bahrain. The Minister affirmed Bahrain government's keenness on paving all the necessary factors that support and assist all international financial and banking institutions doing business in the Kingdom. He praised the vital role of these institutions as essential components of the fiscal and banking sector for their excellent contribution into the national economy of Bahrain as a leading financial, banking and business hub in the region. The meeting discussed current and latest global economic developments.
