Finance Minister receives MEDEF President

Manama, Mar. 14 (BNA): Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, today received President of MEDEF International, CEO of Fives, Frederick Sanchez, and Fives’ Reginal Director for the Middle East, Francois Bamer. Chairperson of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Reem Jalali, was present. The meeting focused on MEDEF’s economic, investment and trade activities, in addition ways to promote cooperation. The Finance Minister said the economy of the Kingdom of Bahrain has many promising opportunities, adding it would continue to grow thanks to its diverse and solid foundation. The Minister highlighted the solid Bahraini-French relations in various fields, especially economic. He said the growing cooperation between the two private sectors benefits the economic interests of the two countries.
