Finance Minister stresses unwavering efforts to enhance Bahrain-UK economic cooperation

Manama, Oct. 4 (BNA): Finance and National Economy Minister, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, has affirmed the unwavering efforts to bolster economic and financial cooperation with the United Kingdom in order to create more investment opportunities that would benefit the two kingdoms and meet the aspirations of their friendly peoples. The minister lauded the depth of the long-standing solid relations at all levels. While holding a virtual meeting with the UK Ambassador to Bahrain, Roddy Drummond, the Finance Minister expressed pride in the steady progress of the distinguished Bahrain-UK relations and fruitful cooperation in various fields. The two sides discussed ways to bolster the Bahraini-British economic cooperation and partnership, as well as to open up broader horizons in order to achieve common goals. The latest global economic developments were also discussed.
