Finance Ministry Undersecretary participates in GCC meetin

Manama: March 31 – (BNA): The Finance Ministry Undersecretary Aref Saleh Khamis departs to the State of Kuwait to participate in the 43rd meeting of GCC Undersecretaries of Finance and Economy Ministries. The undersecretaries preparatory meeting precedes the upcoming 98th meeting of GCC Committee on Financial and Economic Cooperation in the State of Kuwait in May. The preparatory meeting will discuss several memoranda compiled by the GCC General Secretariat, including the matter of follow up of economy-pertinent resolutions passed by the 34th GCC Supreme Council Session, deepening pan-GCC economic integration, follow up of requirements of the monetary union, the common Gulf market, governance of regional monetary and financial organizations and agencies, follow up of the recommendations of the Committee on Economic and Financial Cooperation.
