Financial police started 167 criminal cases on illegal oil turn
Astana, October 28, 2009 (Khabar) - Materials on 95 are already transferred in court, the sum of a "shadow" turn has made 72 billion 22 million tenge. The official representative of department Murat Zhumanbai has informed on it. As check results have shown businessmen did business without allowing documents, illegally stored and sold mineral oil, contraband took out crude oil in Aktobe, South Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kyzyl-Orda, Atyrau, North Kazakhstan regions. An amount of damage is 2 billion 481 million tenge. Checks proceed.
Today new details on the case of plunders in «Alliance Bank» appeared. As it was already informed, the financial police has brought correspondence accusation in plunder of 16 billion 919 million tenge to heads of bank Margulan and Erlan Seisembaev and the chairman of credit committee of bank Arsen Saparov. They are searched by the Interpol.
Murat Zhumanbai, the official representative of Agency of Republic Kazakhstan on struggle against economic and corruption criminality:
- By a consequence it is established that the bank on the security of the ground areas gives out credits to the enterprises for a total sum 23 billion 231 million tenge. However under obviously illegal instructions of Margulan Seisembaev letters on pledge repayment are sent to judicial authorities under the above-named credits. Whereas the actual debts on them are 16 billion 919 million tenge. The ground areas removed from pledge in judicial authorities have been realized. Besides, there is a criminal case concerning one more brother of Seisembaevs – Askar Galin in Agency manufacture. Accusation in fulfillment of waste and assignment of money resources of bank in the sum 1 million US dollars and 653.5 thousand the euros received by it a category of credit is brought to him. From the court sanction on Galin's arrest he is also put on the international wanted list. The investigation is carried on. More detailed information in the interests of the investigation is not disclosed.
