Fiscal balance programme hailed

Manama, Oct.5 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh hailed the royal directives which were issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa to pursue national development momentum, transform challenges into opportunities and draw up executive plans to boost investments and streamline government procedures. Al-Saleh commended the fiscal balance programme to strike the equilibrium between Government’s expenditure and revenues by 2020 and attract investments, stressing the viable programme in spurring growth and expediting progress. He expressed support to all Government’s programmes and strategies to achieve financial sustainability, enhance performance and services and continue achievements for coming generations. He commended the dedicated efforts led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, hailing the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. He lauded Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the State of Kuwait for their continuous and unwavering support to the Kingdom of Bahrain, hailed deep-rooted fraternal ties and constructive partnership to spur Arabian Gulf economic development. The Shura Council chairman commended the solid cooperation between the legislative and executive branches of government in confronting challenges and spearheading development, led by His Majesty the King.
