Five Killed In Indian Army Helicopter Crash In Arunachal Pradesh

NEW DELHI, Oct 21 (Bernama) -- An Indian army helicopter carrying five people crashed in the state of Arunachal Pradesh on Friday. The victims included two pilots of the advanced light helicopter, local media reported. Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu shared the news on Twitter, saying the crash took place near the Tuting area in the state's Upper Siang district. The helicopter was flying army personnel on a regular sortie after taking off from Likabali town, according to a report on the NDTV website. This was the second Indian army helicopter crash this month in the border state. On October 5, one pilot was killed and another injured in a crash in Arunachal Pradesh. -- BERNAMA
