FM receives Italian foreign ministry undersecretary

Manama, Mar. 21 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received Republic of Italy's Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Guglielmo Picchi. The minister welcomed the Italian Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs whose visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain comes within the framework of the continuous communication between the officials of the two friendly countries and reflects the advanced bilateral friendship ties and the two countries’ keenness to embark on broader cooperation at all levels. He stressed Bahrain's keenness to develop mutual coordination with Italy on various issues to promote the interests of both countries and peoples. The Italian guest took pride in meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and commended the progress of bilateral relations in various fields, wishing Bahrain further development and prosperity.
