Foreign affairs minister receives AJC delegation

Manama, Nov. 2 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa on Wednesday received a delegation from the American Jewish Committee (AJC) headed by the Director of AJC's Office of Government and International Affairs, Jason Isaacson, on the occasion of the delegation's visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The minister reviewed with the delegation the means of bolstering the historic and outstanding ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the US in all fields for the benefit of the two countries and peoples. Shaikh Khalid praised the important role of the US in promoting security and peace at the regional and international levels, affirming the support and solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain to all efforts aimed at bolstering peace across the world and combating threats facing the international community. The delegation praised the friendly and historic ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the US as well as the freedoms and openness in the Kingdom, which it said reflected the spirit of civilized tolerance and coexistence across the Bahraini community.
