Foreign Minister condoles with Serbian counterpart

Manama, Nov. 21 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, sent a cable of condolences to his Serbian counterpart, Nikola Selakovic, in which he expressed the sincere condolences of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the government and people of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the demise of the Head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Irinej, who passed away after contracting COVID-19. The Minister of Foreign Affairs commended Patriarch Irinej’s sincere efforts and dedication to consolidate the religious values and principles of the Orthodox Church, as well as promote tolerance among the divine religions and fraternity among all nations and peoples.
